It’s become tougher and tougher to find great music if your only source of exposure is the radio or television. Instead, you have to go to Youtube or satellite radio to really get any variety. It’s understandable why this has happened, because companies like to make a profit, and the most profit is made from mass consumption of very popular music. It’s now almost a requirement that a popular artist also looks like a model because so much rides on sex appeal. This isn’t really anything new, as Elvis and the Beatles were good looking as well, but you also had guys like Steven Tyler, etc… who are almost non-existent in today’s pop music scene.
